Mary Theresa (“Tracy”) Moran graduated from Duke University cum laude with a degree in Public Policy Studies and a certificate in Women’s Studies. She earned her law degree cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as a writing instructor and a Note Editor on the Michigan Journal of Intentional Law.
She clerked for the Honorable Steven Rhodes of the Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern District of Michigan. She served as an associate in the Commercial Litigation Department of the Boston office of Day Pitney, LLP where she gained experience in a wide variety of litigation matters including Debtor and Creditor Rights, Reinsurance Law, Intellectual Property, and Appellate Practice. She then returned to Michigan and worked in the Commercial Litigation group of
Feeney, Kellett, Weinner & Bush.
Since joining the bar in Rhode Island, she has worked in various contract capacities and served as In House Counsel for a Property Management Company, in that
role, she handled receivership and creditor’s rights litigation, collections matters and condominium matters.
She is admitted to the state bars of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Michigan and federal bars of the First and Sixth Circuits and the District Courts of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Eastern and Western Michigan.
She enjoys travel, music, theater and college basketball.
